Business Development Support Executive - Now Hiring
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team to provide essential support to the business development and sales team. As a Business Development Support Executive, you will play a vital role in driving our business growth by identifying and pursuing new leads and opportunities. You will be responsible for researching and analysing potential sales and development avenues, as well as providing support and coordination for business development activities.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with business development managers, identify and pursue new leads and business opportunities to expand our customer base
- Research and analyse market trends and competitors to develop strategies for business growth and aid in getting ahead of the curve.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and industry partners
- Coordinate and support business development activities, including setting up meetings, tracking progress, and following up on action items.
- Track opportunities in the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion
- Manage and maintain our client data, ensuring accuracy, organization, and confidentiality
- Conduct regular data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing and sales strategies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and best practices in business development
- Various administrative tasks as needed
- Provide support to the sales director and identify areas that need direct action.
Requirements:
- Experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Strong ability to identify and action potential leads and opportunities
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills to support meetings and track progress
- Strong attention to detail and data quality
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the building supplies and hardware industry preferred
