The AlphaChem B1 Fire Rated Expanding Foam is a hand-held, one-part PU expanding foam that offers fire-retardant properties for use in construction applications. Fire-rated to EN 1366-4 and conforming to DIN4102-B1 Fire Class, this foam is designed for sealing gaps, joints, and cavities where fire resistance is crucial, such as around door and window frames or cable and pipe penetrations. The 750ml can is equipped with a straw adapter for easy application, making it suitable for both professional and DIY use. The foam provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, with a tack-free time of 7 minutes and a cutting time of 30-45 minutes. Once cured, it can withstand temperatures from -40°C to +90°C, offering durability in various environments. The fire rating allows up to 235 minutes of resistance, depending on joint size, ensuring enhanced safety in fire-rated installations.
